Mehra Dot Dev / Policies

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Last updated: 5 October 2026

This policy applies to freelance development services provided by Mehra Dot Dev. Each project requires a signed agreement setting out the scope, milestones, payment terms, and when development is considered to have started.

Requesting cancellation

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing through the contact form or the existing project correspondence channel. Include your name, project reference, and the request so that we can identify the engagement and confirm next steps.

Before development begins

Before development begins, payments received are refundable. The project agreement will identify when development is considered to have started.

After development begins

A client may request cancellation in writing after development begins. Charges for work performed up to cancellation remain payable.

Payments already received will be credited against those charges. Any excess will be refunded, and any outstanding amount for work performed remains payable. A written settlement will explain the calculation using the agreed scope, milestones, and payment terms. The same work will not be charged twice.

If we cannot complete the project

If Mehra Dot Dev cannot complete the project, the client will receive written notice and a refund of payments attributable to undelivered work. Completed work and the financial settlement will be documented according to the project agreement.

Refund timing

Approved refunds will be processed within seven working days of approval. Credit to the original payment method is then estimated to take an additional 7–10 business days, depending on the payment provider and bank.

We will confirm when the refund has been initiated. If it has not arrived within the estimated period, please contact us through the existing project correspondence or the contact form so we can assist with tracing it.

Project-specific terms

Any project-specific arrangements will be documented in the signed agreement. This website policy does not amend an existing signed contract. Nothing in this policy excludes rights or remedies available under applicable law.
